Kumbor - the Turkish fortress Vrbanj and marina Portonovi
Kumbor is a cape and a little village, in fact strait leading from Topaljskog bay in the Bay of Tivat. Kumbor is named after the Italian word meaning suburb because he was near the old city of Stoli. The town has just over a thousand permanent residents. From Herceg Novi is only 6 km. Today it is a tourist resort with enough luxury apartamana and rooms for guests who are on the coast. Friendly hosts prepared for their guests cruise the Bay of Kotor and visit Herceg Novi, Kotor, Dubrovnik and other places in the region.
On the promontory are the remains of Turkish fortifications Vrbanj from the XVII century.
