Lepetane and Verige

Lepetane is an old seaside village in the Bay of Kotor, which in the Middle Ages, named after the former church of the Holy Lovrije - City of St. Lawrence. By the mid-twentieth century, the town had a red stone quarry tiled which are many squares, terraces and walkways in the Bay of Kotor. Today it is a ferry station to cross the bay, but also a place frequently visited and photographed by tourists from all over, although a little not those odsijedaju in it for a few days rest and swimming. The place is very well connected with Tivat, Kotor and Herceg Novi. Above Lepetani of a hill which offers a beautiful view of the bay.

Lepetane have an interesting parish church. Anthony, built in the mid eighteenth century where is the altarpiece of Our Lady of the Rosary. The painting was donated to the church by the shipowner from Lepetane Anton Damjanovic. There is also a picture of Mikhail Floria from Prcanj and interesanta image of the Virgin, by an unknown author. The church of St. Anthony is stored and pictures of saints - St. Paul and Peter works painter Francesco from Italy.
